Horizon Firearms Vandal DM 22 Creedmoor 22" Rifle

Twenty two inches of spiral fluted steel is the long barrel option in the Vandal DM line, and in 22 Creedmoor that length is worth having. The extra tube turns into velocity, and velocity in a 22 caliber match bullet turns into less wind drift at the far targets. The barrel is finished in black chrome and threaded at the muzzle for a brake or a suppressor.

Horizon builds the DM around an XLR Element 4.0 chassis, black anodized aluminum, with an ARCA rail on the forend so the rifle drops onto a tripod or a bag without an adapter. The receiver is black chrome with a picatinny rail for optics. This was Horizon's first chassis gun and it was pointed at shooters moving into precision competition. The 22 Creedmoor chambering fits that: it recoils lightly enough to spot impacts, it is easy to load for, and a 22 inch barrel gets everything the case has to give.
