Horizon Firearms Vandal 2 22 Creedmoor 22" 5rd OD Green Rifle

Horizon builds the Vandal 2 for the hunter who wants custom rifle parts without ordering a custom rifle. It is a return to the original Vandal formula with a new stock: a Timberline Iota BKS with a classic sporter grip, shaped for someone who grew up shooting a wood stocked hunting rifle and does not want a chassis. What the stock adds is an ARCA rail running the forend, so a bipod or a tripod clamp slides on anywhere along the length instead of hanging off one stud in one spot.

The 22" barrel is skip dash fluted, which pulls weight out of the middle without giving up much stiffness, and the muzzle is threaded for a brake or a can. Barrel and receiver both wear a mil spec OD Green finish, and the receiver comes with a Picatinny rail already on top so scope mounting is one less decision. Feeding is from a detachable AICS pattern box magazine holding 5 rounds, which means spare magazines are easy to find. Chambered in 22 Creedmoor, this is a flat shooting right hand rifle for predators, varmints and long range practice where recoil should never be the limiting factor.
