The HM50 B1 is HM Defense's answer for shooters who want a 50 BMG without the price and wait of a full custom build. The 26.25" match barrel comes threaded at the muzzle, and the rifle feeds from a 10rd detachable magazine — generous capacity in a caliber where single loaders are still common. Everything about the layout is set up for distance: a full length Picatinny rail on the machined aluminum receiver for tall scope mounts, an M-LOK handguard with a railed forend section for bipods and accessories, and an adjustable cheekpiece so the shooter can build the same position behind big glass every time.
Fifty caliber rifles are specialized tools. This one covers ELR matches, extreme distance steel, and the simple grin that comes from sending a round the size of a cigar past the horizon. The rifle's sheer mass works in the shooter's favor, soaking up recoil that would rattle a lighter gun, and the hard black finish on the aluminum receiver takes range wear without fuss.
