HK VP9A1 L 9mm 5" 10rd Vortex Defender ST Pistol

About the HK VP9A1 L 9mm
HK stretched the VP9 slide and barrel to 5" to build the VP9A1 L, and this is the 10 round version of it. The long slide adds mass ahead of the hands and the lightening cuts pull some of that mass back out, which is how the gun keeps the length without picking up a muzzle heavy hang. Alongside the VP9K, the VP9X and the VP9F, the L is the one aimed at people who shoot for score.
The slide is cut for an optic and a Vortex Defender ST red dot is packed with the pistol. Underneath, the black polymer frame has a Picatinny rail for a light, the backstraps swap out to fit different hands, and the controls work from either side. Two 10rd magazines are included, which makes this the version to order where magazine capacity is capped. The A1 changes center on the trigger, the grip frame and the controls, so a shooter moving from an older VP9 will find the same gun with the rough edges taken off.
