HK VP9A1 F 9mm 4.53" 10rd CA Compliant Pistol

The F is the full size VP9A1. The barrel runs 4.53 inches, longer than the standard VP9, and the extra slide mass and sight radius show up as a flatter shooting pistol. This is the California roster configuration, which means two 10 round magazines rather than the higher capacity mags the model carries elsewhere. Everything else is standard VP9A1.

HK's A1 update was aimed at the connection between the shooter and the pistol. The trigger picked up a nickel Teflon coating for a smoother pull and a shorter, more positive reset. The magwell is flared. The ambidextrous slide release and paddle magazine release were refined, and the frame carries serrated reference points for the support hand thumb. The slide is optic cut, and the factory sights are a tritium front and a serrated black rear, which keeps your eye on the front dot instead of a row of glowing dots. Grip fit is handled with interchangeable backstraps and side panels, and the trigger has adjustable reach. The VP9 has a long standing reputation with law enforcement agencies for raising qualification scores, mostly because the grip angle and the trigger let average shooters shoot better than they usually do.
