Hi-Point 995 Carbine 9mm 16.5" 10rd Forward Grip Rifle

This Hi-Point 995 carbine comes set up with a folding forward grip and a TUFF1 grip cover. The carbine itself is the familiar 995: 9mm, a 16.5" barrel, a 10 round magazine and a black all weather skeletonized polymer stock with an internal recoil buffer. Rails on the receiver cover leave room for an optic, light or laser, and the iron sights are a post front with a fully adjustable peep rear.

The barrel is threaded 1/2-28, the common 9mm pitch, so a muzzle device or suppressor mount goes on without an adapter. Hi-Point rates its carbines for +P ammunition. The forward grip gives the support hand a solid hold and folds out of the way when it is not wanted. A thumb safety, grip mounted magazine release and last round lock open keep the controls simple. At 6.25 lbs and 31" overall, it is easy to handle, and 9mm recoil in a gun this heavy is mild, so it suits new shooters, range days and a basic home defense role. The 995 magazine does not swap with the C9 pistol.
