Hi-Point 4595 Carbine 45 ACP 17.5" 9rd Rifle

The Hi-Point 4595 carbine puts the 45 ACP in a long gun with a 17.5" barrel and a 9 round magazine. The all weather polymer stock is skeletonized and carries an internal recoil buffer, and the Picatinny rails along the receiver cover give room for an optic, a light or a laser. Iron sights are a post front and a fully adjustable ghost ring peep rear, so it is ready to shoot before any optic goes on.

The barrel is threaded .578x28 for a muzzle device or a suppressor mount in that pitch. Hi-Point rates its carbines for +P ammunition. A thumb safety, a grip mounted magazine release and last round lock open keep the manual of arms easy to learn. A heavy 45 ACP bullet from a carbine length barrel is soft to shoot and far less punishing on the ears indoors than a rifle cartridge, and the 7 lb weight keeps muzzle rise low for quick follow up shots. Overall length is 32". It is a long standing pick for a home defense carbine, a truck gun or an easy day of steel plates at the range.
