Henry Side Gate 38-55 Win 20" 5rd Rifle

The Henry Side Gate Lever Action gives you two ways to load: Henry's removable tube magazine, which makes unloading safe and simple, and a side loading gate for topping off the tube without pulling the follower. This one is chambered in 38-55 Win, a cartridge from the black powder era that still hits hard on deer at woods ranges.

The receiver is hardened, polished brass, and the brass carries through to the buttplate and barrel band. The 20" round barrel is blued steel. American walnut stocks are cut with deep checkering, and the sights are a fully adjustable semi buckhorn rear with a diamond insert over an ivory bead front. A transfer bar safety guards against an accidental discharge if the hammer is struck. The receiver is drilled and tapped for a Weaver 63B base, and sling swivel studs come installed. With a 5 round magazine, about 7.5 pounds of weight and a 14" length of pull, this Henry hunts as well as it looks in the gun cabinet.
