Glock 43X MOS 9mm 3.41" 10rd Orchid Pistol

The 43X MOS gives up nothing to add an optic. The slide leaves the factory cut for a micro red dot under a polymer cover plate, so a dot bolts on at the kitchen table instead of going to a machine shop for two weeks. That matters more on a carry gun than on anything else in the safe, because a dot is quicker to find under stress and a great deal kinder to eyes that no longer snap onto a front sight the way they did at twenty five.

Underneath, this is the slim nine that reset the category. Glock paired the short 43 slide with a full length grip frame, so a whole hand gets on the gun and the little finger has somewhere to sit, while the 3.41" barrel keeps the pistol flat against the body. The frame here carries an Orchid finish, a soft purple against a black slide. It changes nothing mechanically and makes the pistol easy to pick out of a safe shared with three other Glocks. A 10rd magazine comes with it, which keeps the gun usable in capacity restricted states. Striker fired, no manual safety, tool free takedown, and the same trigger the platform has always had.
