GForce Arms Jawbone Hybrid 45 ACP 7" 26rd Pistol

The Jawbone Hybrid is a large format 45 ACP pistol built on an aluminum receiver, and it feeds from Glock pattern 45 ACP magazines. Listed capacity is 26 rounds, which is a lot of big bore pistol ammunition to have on board at one time. The 7" barrel carries a QPQ finish and is threaded at the muzzle, so a can or a brake goes on without a trip to a gunsmith.

A Picatinny rail runs across the top of the receiver with room for a red dot and a backup sight and space left over. An Ace of Brace paddle style brace hangs off the back of the receiver. Controls are ambidextrous at both the magazine release and the charging handle, and there is a second charging handle out on the forend, which is genuinely useful when the gun is braced and you would rather not break your firing grip to run the bolt. Aluminum construction keeps the weight sensible for something carrying this much barrel and this much magazine, and 45 ACP out of a 7" tube is a heavy, slow push rather than a sharp crack, which makes the gun pleasant to shoot for longer than most people expect.
