German Precision Optics Passion HDi 3-12x42 SFP G4i Riflescope

Of the three Passion HDi 3-12x scopes, the 42mm is the small one - same 3-12x range and same 30mm main tube, with a smaller objective bell. It uses the same HD lens system as the rest of the line.

The G4i reticle is illuminated by a fiber optic micro dot rather than an edge lit etch, and brightness runs through GPO's iControl. Parallax lives on a third turret. Second focal plane, so the reticle holds one apparent size across the magnification range - set the dot where you want it at 4x and it looks identical at 12x. This is the configuration for a rifle you carry a long way before you shoot it.
