About this product
The Geissele Super Modular Rail MK8 is a 13.5 inch free float handguard for the AR-15 in Geissele's Desert Dirt Color (DDC). M-LOK slots sit at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock and on the upper 45 degree angles, while heavy venting on the lower 45s sheds heat and trims weight to about 13.1 oz with hardware.
Geissele's 2.25 inch long barrel nut is included. It gives more contact with the receiver so the rail stays straight and holds zero after you take it apart. Installation needs a Geissele barrel nut wrench, sold separately.
