About this product
The RIS II was built for SOCOM's SOPMOD II program, and this is the MK18 length: 9.55" of free float quad rail with mil-spec 1913 Picatinny on top, bottom and both sides. The top rail runs uninterrupted, and the two piece design lets the lower section come off to free float an M203 without extra parts.
It attaches with the six bolt Bolt-Up System and a steel barrel nut, using Grade 8 fasteners. It is made for carbine length gas AR-15 uppers and is meant to run with the MK12 low profile gas block. Aluminum body, FDE hard coat anodized finish, 14.1 oz.
