About the Geissele SSA-E AR-15 2
The SSA-E is built on the chassis of Geissele's SSA two stage trigger with reduced pull weights. You get a smooth, light first stage take up and a crisp second stage break that Geissele compares to a candy cane snapping.
Geissele lists about 2.3 lb for the first stage and 1.2 lb for the second, around 3.5 lb total. It is a non adjustable drop in trigger with a curved bow, black oxide finish and mil-spec pin size for AR-15/M4 lowers, and it is aimed at designated marksman style rifles where accuracy and reliability both matter. Geissele notes its AR-15 triggers do not fit Sig MPX or MCX.
