Fusion Firearms XP 3C 9mm 3" 10rd Chrome Pistol

Fusion Firearms builds the XP 3C around an idea that sounds like a contradiction until you handle one: a 3 inch double stack 1911 chambered in 9mm that feeds from Glock 19 pattern magazines. The 1911 half of that gives you the grip angle, the thumb safety and the single action trigger that the platform is still known for. The Glock magazine half means spare mags are on every gun shop shelf in the country instead of being a proprietary part you order and wait on.

The frame and slide are both steel and wear a hard chrome finish, which is a genuinely tough surface treatment and a break from the black guns filling the same case. Weight is the trade off, and in a compact carry pistol that weight works in your favor once the gun starts moving. The slide is cut for an optic, there is a Picatinny section on the dust cover for a light, and a beavertail grip safety keeps the web of the hand out of the hammer's way. This configuration comes with two 10 round magazines and carries a 3 inch barrel, which puts it in the same footprint as a compact carry gun with a much better trigger.
