Freedom Ordnance FM9D Beltfed 9mm 16" Rifle

A belt fed 9mm you can actually buy: the Freedom Ordnance FM9D is a semi automatic rifle that feeds from disintegrating link belts or, when the belts run dry, from standard Glock pattern magazines. The dual feed design is the whole point — load the included 100rd belt bag for sustained fire on the range, then swap to the included 33rd Glock style stick without changing anything else about the gun. Nothing else at the range draws a crowd quite like it.

The rifle itself runs a 16" threaded barrel with black nitride treatment inside an aluminum receiver set, with Picatinny rail across the top and along the handguard for optics and accessories. A B5 Bravo polymer stock and standard AR pattern ergonomics keep the controls familiar even when the feeding system is anything but. Nine millimeter ammunition keeps the cost of a belt dump within reason, which is exactly how this rifle will be used.
