Radical Firearms Fr16-5.56soc-15fcf 5.56x45mm Nato 16 inch 30 Round Melonite

The Radical Firearms FR16-5.56SOC-15FCF joins the FR16 series as a rugged 5.56 NATO AR-15 platform built for range days, training, and duty use, featuring a 16-inch 4140 Chrome Moly Vanadium SOCOM-profile barrel with a Melonite finish for long-term wear and corrosion resistance and a 1:7 twist rate that stabilizes heavier 5.56/Ballistic tip loads for consistent accuracy downrange. The direct impingement action runs smoothly through controlled recoil and is paired with a durable polymer stock for a balanced, lightweight carry during field work or extended sessions at the range, while the 1/2x28 thread pitch accepts a wide range of muzzle devices for sound and flash management. With a 30-round capacity and no fixed sights, the rifle is ideal for shooters who prefer optics on an MSR platform and need a reliable foundation for tactical drills, competition, or training scenarios. Radical Firearms engineered the FR16-5.56SOC-15FCF to harmonize components for dependable function and service life, making it a solid choice for shooters seeking a capable semi-auto rifle with SOCOM barrel performance and practical adaptability.
