FN PS90 Standard 5.7x28mm 16.04" 30rd Rifle

The FN PS90 Standard is the civilian semi auto version of the P90, and it still looks like nothing else on the rack. It is a compact bullpup chambered in 5.7x28mm with a 16.04" cold hammer forged, chrome lined barrel that ends in an integral ported muzzle brake. It runs on blowback and fires from a closed bolt. The 30 round magazine has a translucent polymer body, so you can see your round count at a glance, and spent cases drop straight down out of a bottom ejection port where they never cross your face.

It is about as ambidextrous as a rifle gets. Dual charging handles, an ambidextrous magazine release, and a safety switch inside the enlarged trigger guard work the same from either shoulder. The trigger slides rather than pivots. The synthetic thumbhole stock has a forward handstop and a molded in rear sling point, and the alloy upper carries a MIL-STD 1913 rail with a backup iron sight for whatever optic you want to run. At 6.28 lbs and about 26" long, it handles easily in tight spaces, with light recoil and a lot of capacity on tap.
