Fierce Firearms Carbon Rogue XP 22 Creedmoor 22" 3rd Phantom Camo Rifle

This Carbon Rogue XP runs a 22" carbon fiber barrel, two inches longer than the short version, which buys a little more speed out of 22 Creedmoor for shooters who spend their time behind a bipod rather than on their feet. The receiver is stainless steel wearing a glacier Cerakote finish, and the stock is carbon fiber in phantom camo, so the rifle reads light and pale instead of the usual black on black. Weight stays low because both the barrel and the stock are carbon.

The XP configuration is the one with the detachable magazine, and it holds 3rd. Reloads are a matter of dropping the box and seating a fresh one, which is a real advantage in the field when a follow up opportunity comes fast. The forend carries a Picatinny rail for a bipod, and the receiver is drilled and tapped for scope bases. 22 Creedmoor stays supersonic a long way out and asks almost nothing of the shooter's shoulder, so it is easy to shoot well across a canyon or on a steel course. This is a hunting rifle that shoots like a target rifle, without the weight penalty that usually comes with that combination.
