Fierce Firearms Carbon Rival XP 2.0 6.5 Creedmoor 20" Rifle

6.5 Creedmoor earned its place by being easy to shoot well. Recoil is mild enough that a shooter can call their own shots without being pushed off the scope, factory match ammunition sits on every shelf in the country, and the bullets it throws hold their line in wind at distances where lesser cartridges start guessing. It is honest on deer sized game, and plenty of elk have fallen to it with the right bullet placed properly. The 20 inch barrel is the practical choice rather than the maximum one. It gives up very little velocity, it swings faster from a treestand or off a pack, and it points quickly when a shot comes without much warning. For a rifle meant to be carried rather than parked on a bench, that trade reads well.
