Fierce Firearms Carbon Rival XP 2.0 308 Win Rifle

Fierce Firearms builds the Carbon Rival XP 2.0 as a bolt action rifle, and this one is chambered in 308 Winchester. A bolt gun is still the simplest path to a rifle that shoots. There are fewer moving parts in the way, the breech locks in the same place for every shot, and the shooter has to slow down between rounds and pay attention to the one being fired. That last part is most of the accuracy story and nobody likes to admit it.

308 Winchester is the reason plenty of shooters never feel the need to own a second centerfire.
