About the Fierce Firearms Carbon Rival
22 Creedmoor is a varmint cartridge that grew up. Neck a 6mm Creedmoor case down to .224 and you get a round that pushes heavy long bullets fast enough to hang with much larger cartridges on paper, with so little recoil that watching your own impacts through the scope is routine. Barrel life is the trade, and most owners decide it is worth paying.
Fierce chambers it here in the Carbon Rival XP 2.0 with a 20 inch match grade barrel under tungsten finished metal. The stock is carbon fiber with an adjustable comb, the bolt body is spiral fluted, and the TriggerTech Primary ProCurve trigger adjusts without removing the action from the stock. A dropbox magazine feeds the rifle. The receiver is drilled and tapped for a scope base and QD flush cup mounts sit in the stock for a sling. Between prairie dog towns, coyote stands and steel matches, a light 22 Creedmoor cut to match grade tolerances covers a lot of ground.
