Faxon MuzzLok Plan B Muzzle Brake 5/8-24

The Plan B is Faxon's muzzle brake, threaded 5/8-24 with a .375 inch bore, so it clears .338 and anything under it. The MuzzLok system is what separates it from a plain brake: a left hand timing nut locks the device where you want it with no crush washer and no shim stack, and it returns to the same clock position every time it comes off and goes back on.

Brakes trade noise for control. Gas gets pushed out the sides of the device rather than straight down range, the rifle stops climbing as hard, and the target stays in the glass between shots. The body is stainless steel under a nitride coating, which handles the heat and gas wash that hammer a brake during a long string. The Plan B interface also lets a hub mount suppressor go on over the top of it later.
