Faxon Firearms FX7 6.5 Creedmoor 20" Gunner Barreled Action

This Faxon FX7 barreled action is a 6.5 Creedmoor build in a box: the FX7 short action and bolt with a 20" Gunner profile barrel, installed, torqued and headspaced at Faxon. The Gunner contour is heavy at the chamber and tapers toward the muzzle, a good balance for a rifle you shoot from the bench and still carry in the field. The 1:8 twist handles the common hunting and match bullets for the cartridge, and the 5/8-24 threaded muzzle with a recessed crown takes common muzzle devices and suppressor mounts.

The FX7 receiver is stainless steel in a matte DLC finish with a six lug bolt and a short 70 degree lift. It has a 20 MOA Picatinny rail and a recoil lug built in, follows the Remington 700 short action footprint for triggers, stocks and chassis, and takes AICS and AW pattern magazines. Add those and the rifle is complete. At 20", it stays handy with a suppressor on the end.
