Faxon Firearms Duty Series Glock 48 9mm 4.19" Barrel

Faxon's Glock 48 barrel in 9mm, a straight swap for the slimline pistol's stock barrel. It drops into the slide during a normal field strip, with no fitting and no gunsmith work, and the stock recoil assembly goes back in unchanged. The muzzle is left plain at 4.19 inches, so nothing changes about how the gun sits in a holster.

Aftermarket barrels get bought for two reasons: tighter chamber and bore tolerances than a service grade barrel, and a surface finish that gives up carbon with less scrubbing. Faxon built its name on the first and does not skimp on the second, which makes this a reasonable upgrade on a carry gun that sees a lot of range time.
