European American Armory Bounty Hunter 44 Mag 7.5" 6rd Nickel Revolver

The Bounty Hunter is EAA's traditional six shot single action, built by Weihrauch and sold here for over twenty years. This one is the big bore version: 44 Magnum, a 7.5 inch barrel and a bright nickel finish over a steel frame, set off by walnut grips. The long barrel adds sight radius and weight out front, which helps tame a full power 44 load.

It loads and handles like a classic single action, with a half cock loading notch, but it adds a transfer bar safety and recessed chambers, modern touches the old designs lacked. Sights are fixed. At about 41 ounces it is a solid sixgun for the range, cowboy style shooting or carrying in the field on a hunt. If you want the look and manual of arms of an Old West revolver with a cartridge that can take deer, this is the one to look at.
