European American Armory Bounty Hunter 45 Colt 4.5" 6rd Nickel Revolver

The Bounty Hunter is a traditional six shot single action revolver built by Weihrauch for EAA, and this one is chambered in the cartridge the style was born with, 45 Colt. The 4.5 inch barrel keeps it quick out of a holster and well balanced in the hand, and the steel frame wears a bright nickel finish with walnut grips.

Loading follows the old pattern, with a half cock notch and a loading gate, but the Bounty Hunter adds a transfer bar safety and recessed chambers that older single actions never had. Sights are fixed. At about 39 ounces it has enough heft to keep 45 Colt recoil comfortable while staying easy to carry on the belt. It fits right in at a cowboy action match, works as a field gun, and looks good in a collection of classic sixguns. The finish and wood make it a handsome gun to keep and pass down.
