The Del-Ton Dti Upper Receiver AR15 M4 5.56 16 Flattop Pre combines rugged reliability with precise engineering for a ready-to-build platform, featuring a forged 7075 T6 aluminum upper with a hard coat anodized Mil-Spec finish and an A3 flat top with M4 feed ramps for seamless optics mounting and consistent reliability. Inside, the chrome moly vanadium barrel delivers durable performance with M4 feed ramps, a 16 length, and a 1x9 twist, while the A2 flash hider reduces blast and muzzle rise for quick follow-up shots. The manganese phosphated exterior and phosphated under the front sight base, along with taper pins on the A2 front sight base, enhance corrosion resistance and durability in demanding conditions. A threaded muzzle and M4 profile contribute to versatile use across common AR platforms, and the bolt and carrier assembly features a phosphated 8620 steel carrier with a Carpenter 158 bolt, HPT/MPI tested, heat treated and plated, with a chrome-lined carrier interior and a properly staked and sealed gas key. Handguards are carbine length with an aluminum delta ring and single heat shield, while the bore surface is coated with dry film lube over the anodized finish to promote smooth operation and long service life.
