DoubleTap SnakeShot Defense 9mm 95gr JHP #9 Shot 20rd Box

SnakeShot Defense is a hybrid 9mm load. Each round stacks a 95gr jacketed hollow point on top of a charge of #9 shot, for a total payload of 145 grains. The shot handles snakes and small pests at close range, and the JHP is still there when the threat has two legs.

DoubleTap rates the 95gr JHP at 10 to 12 inches of penetration in gel with expansion to about half an inch, so it suits home defense and other spots where limited penetration is wanted. DoubleTap does not recommend this load for use with a suppressor. Sold in a 20rd box.
