About the DoubleTap Controlled Expansion 9mm
DoubleTap's Controlled Expansion 9mm +P is a middleweight carry load. The 124gr JHP is built to open reliably while still driving deep enough to matter, which is the balance most people want from a daily carry round.
It is loaded as a low flash load, a real plus when the lights are off. DoubleTap clocks it at about 1310 fps from a Glock 17 and just under that from a Glock 19, so it keeps its speed in compact pistols too. Because it is +P, run it only in a pistol rated for +P ammunition. Comes in a 20rd box.
