This right-hand or left-hand oriented setup ensures proper balance and zero retention on respective firearms, with MOA mounts tapered at the front for long-range performance and a front-ring drop of about .03 inches compared with standard mounts to optimize sight alignment. Base screws are 6-48 x 1/4 inch and ring screws are 6-40 x 5/8 inch, both operated with a 7/64 inch Allen key, while guns with certain .338 Lapua receivers may require 8-40 base screws and a 9/64 inch Allen wrench; if your rifle uses larger screws, select the 8-40 variant accordingly. The short-action outside-to-outside ring measurement is 4.26 inches, with standard rings at .63 inches wide using two ring screws per ring and tactical rings at .80 inches wide using four screws per ring.
