DNT Optics Hydra 2-8x50mm 640 Thermal Rifle Scope

This is the Hydra without the rangefinder: the same 640 thermal core and 50mm objective at 2-8x, for hunters who already know their fields or run a separate LRF. Skipping the laser module strips the package down to the parts of the scope that actually find and kill pigs, the sensor and the glass.

A 640 core earns its place over the 384 sensors in entry level scopes by holding detail through digital zoom, which is exactly where thermal images usually fall apart. Body shape and gait resolve at distances where lesser cores show shapeless white smears, and that is what tells a sounder of hogs from a herd of calves before anyone touches a trigger. Simple controls keep it practical on a working gun.
