RIX Stride ST3 Lite 1-6x15mm Thermal Monocular

The Stride ST3 Lite is a handheld thermal monocular that also runs off a helmet, and RIX built it around a true 1x base magnification. What you see through the eyepiece matches what your other eye sees, so you can walk with it up instead of stopping every few steps to reorient. Thermals that start at 2x or 3x do not let you do that. The sensor is 384x288 with a 12 micron pixel pitch and a 20 mK NETD rating, behind a 15mm f1.0 lens at 50Hz.

Detection range runs out to 780 meters. The OLED display is 1024x768 and digital zoom stretches to 4x on top of the 1-6x optical range. Video and stills save to 32GB of onboard memory as mp4 and jpg files, and Wi-Fi pulls them off to a phone. A single 18650 cell runs it about four hours, with a USB Type C port for external power. The housing carries an IP67 rating and the whole unit weighs 6.7 ounces, light enough that helmet mounting stays comfortable over a long night.
