Dickinson Adam 1911 Fireball 9mm 4.37" 9rd Pistol

Dickinson's Adam Fireball is a 1911 built the traditional way, with a forged steel frame and a forged barrel rather than castings. The slide is machined from bar stock on CNC equipment, and the frame carries a beavertail so the web of the hand sits high and the hammer stays clear of skin. Chambered in 9mm with a 4.37" barrel, it lands between a Commander and a Government in size.

Nine rounds of 9mm out of an all steel 1911 is about as soft shooting as a centerfire pistol gets. The weight does most of the work, the single action trigger travels straight back with very little take up, and the grip angle is the one generations of shooters learned on. Serrations along the slide give a solid hold for press checks and malfunction clearing.
