About this product
A 14.5" lightweight profile 5.56 NATO barrel from Daniel Defense, cold hammer forged from chrome moly vanadium steel with a chrome lined bore and a mil-spec heavy phosphate exterior. Twist is 1:7, the gas system is mid length, and the gas journal is .750.
The muzzle is threaded 1/2-28, and the barrel wears an A4 extension. At 1.38 lbs it is a good fit for a light carbine build. Remember that a 14.5" barrel needs a permanently attached muzzle device to reach 16" on a rifle.
