Pedersoli Rolling Block Creedmoor #2 45-70 Govt 30" Rifle

In the late 1800s, American long range shooters had their rifles customized with longer barrels, reshaped grips, precise aiming devices and set triggers. The Pedersoli Rolling Block Creedmoor #2 follows that same recipe. It is a single shot rolling block rifle chambered in 45-70 Government with a 30" round steel barrel in a blued, anti reflective finish.

The pistol grip stock and the forend are checkered walnut, and a double set trigger lets you set a very light let off for careful shots at distance. The rifle weighs about 9.25 lbs, and that weight helps soak up the push of the 45-70 over a long string of fire at the range. It is set up for right hand shooters. For long range target shooting with big lead bullets, cartridge silhouette matches, or anyone who appreciates the classic American target rifles of the buffalo era, the Creedmoor #2 is a faithful take on a historic design that still shoots as well as it looks.
