Dark Mountain Arms Stowaway 9mm 5" 1rd Brace Adapter Pistol

This Dark Mountain Arms Stowaway is the 9mm version of their large format single shot pistol. A bolt operated action feeds one round at a time, and the barrel comes off by hand so the pistol packs down to about 7.1 inches. Put together it measures roughly 11.5 inches and weighs about 2 pounds, light enough to live in a pack, a truck console or a survival kit without being noticed.

The 5 inch barrel wears 1/2-28 threads at the muzzle for a suppressor or muzzle device. At the back, a 1913 brace adapter accepts a folding brace. Up top, a Picatinny rail takes a red dot or a small scope. The receiver is aluminum and steel with glass filled nylon parts and a corrosion resistant finish, and the hammer offers a half cock position. A bolt face and barrel change is all it takes to move to another caliber. Chambered in 9mm, it runs on the most common handgun ammo there is, so it is easy to stock and practice with.
