About the Dead Air Sandman X
The Sandman X is the newest evolution of Dead Air's Sandman line, a hard use can made to live on semi auto and full auto 7.62 NATO rifles. Its 3D printed Haynes 282 baffle system was built to balance three things: sound, back pressure and flash. The gas management design cuts gas in the face and the added wear it causes, while the included 7.62 flash hider front cap keeps the muzzle signature down.
This KeyMo model includes the DA438 KeyMo adapter and a DA116 5/8-24 three prong flash hider. The 1.375-24 HUB socket accepts Dead Air's KeyMo, Xeno and direct thread systems as well as many other HUB adapters. It carries a 30 caliber bore, rated up to 300 RUM, measures 6.9" long and 1.65" in diameter, and weighs 16.8 oz. Full auto rated with no barrel length restriction, in FDE Cerakote.
