CZ Bren 2 MS 5.56 NATO 11.14" 30rd Pistol

The CZ Bren 2 MS pistol is the civilian version of the Czech military's Bren 2, chambered in 5.56 NATO with an 11.14" cold hammer forged barrel. It runs on a short stroke gas piston with the return spring contained inside the action, so there is no buffer tube to worry about. The upper receiver is aluminum and the lower is carbon fiber reinforced polymer, which keeps the whole package at about 5.6 lbs. It takes standard AR-15 pattern magazines, so the 30rd mags you already own will work.

Controls will feel familiar to any AR shooter. The magazine release and safety are ambidextrous, the bolt catch is mirrored on both sides, and there is a second release at the front of the trigger guard. The non reciprocating charging handle stays forward until you need it, swaps sides, and doubles as a forward assist. Folding adjustable front and rear sights come standard, and the MS handguard is modular, so it can be changed to other lengths. The flush rear plate accepts an AR style buffer tube for a brace or cheek rest, and the muzzle is threaded 1/2-28 for a brake or suppressor.
