CVA Cascade XT 6.5 CM 22" 4rd Midnight Bronze Rifle

The Cascade XT is the upgraded version of CVA's Cascade, and the changes are the ones hunters actually ask for. The barrel is a medium contour Bergara blank, fluted, 22" long and threaded at the muzzle, wearing a radial brake that takes some of the push out of 6.5 Creedmoor. Flutes shed weight without giving up stiffness, and the medium contour keeps the balance forward enough to hold steady on a rest.

Behind that is an oversized bolt knob, which sounds like a small thing until you try to cycle a rifle in gloves or with wet hands. The stock is synthetic, adjustable, and finished in Mossy Oak Bottomland, and the barrel and receiver wear a Midnight Bronze Cerakote that holds up to weather better than bluing. A Picatinny rail with 20 MOA of built in elevation is already mounted, so a scope goes on without a separate base and there is dial left over for distance. The magazine holds 4 rounds. For a hunter who wants more rifle than a basic bolt gun but is not ready to build a dedicated precision setup, this is the middle ground.
