Colt, 1911 Delta Elite, 10mm, 5 inch, 8+1, Black Diamond-Like Carbon/Stainless

The Colt 1911 Delta Elite Pistol delivers a serious 10mm Auto platform built on Colt's storied 1911 Delta Elite lineage, offering a 5-inch stainless steel barrel and stainless frame with a Black DLC slide that wears exceptionally well for range use, hunting or duty carry where a hard-hitting caliber matters. This single-action semi-auto retains the classic short-recoil 1911 ergonomics but adds modern controls: an upswept beavertail grip safety and ambidextrous extended thumb safety for secure, shootable control under recoil, serrations on the slide for positive manipulation, and Novak white dot sights with a low mount carry rear for fast sight acquisition and clear contrast in low light. At 35.00 oz and a capacity of 8+1, the Delta Elite balances carryability and muzzle energy, making it capable for large-game hunting with heavy 10mm loads, backcountry protection, or serious defensive use while remaining pleasant for precision work at the range. The composite black polymer grips with Delta medallions provide a confident purchase, and the stainless barrel and frame ensure corrosion resistance and longevity. This Colt 1911 Delta Elite requires transfer through an FFL and is a choice for shooters seeking a proven 10mm 1911 in a durable, modern package.
