Cimarron Firearms, 1866 Yellowboy, .44-40 Winchester, 20 inch, 10 rounds, Brass Frame Blued Finish Walnut Stock

The Cimarron 1866 Yellowboy .44-40 Winchester short rifle brings that Old West character into a modern shooter's hands with a brass frame that defines the model/series and a 20-inch octagon barrel that delivers balance and pointed accuracy for target work and medium-game hunting, while the 10-round capacity keeps you on the line longer without frequent reloads. With a traditional blued metal finish and rich walnut stock, this lever-action rifle is built for cowboy action competition, collectors who value historical fidelity, and hunters who want a compact, handy rifle for brush country; the smooth 1:36" twist and octagon profile help stabilize cast bullets common to .44 WCF loads, and the iron sights provide quick acquisition in practical shooting scenarios. Weighing about 7.56 pounds and measuring 39.5 inches overall, the short rifle configuration remains maneuverable on horseback or in tight treestand setups, and the brass frame is not just cosmetic—it's the hallmark of the 1866 Yellowboy series, offering that unmistakable look and feel. Purchasing requires an FFL transfer, and the Cimarron craftsmanship makes this lever-action rifle a durable, historically styled choice for shooters and collectors alike.
