Christensen Arms Ridgeline Safari 375 H&H 22" Walnut Rifle

The Ridgeline Safari is what happens when a carbon fiber rifle company builds a classic big game gun. Under the European walnut stock is a stainless action and a hand lapped carbon fiber wrapped barrel, 22 inches long and chambered in 375 H&H. That is the cartridge that has been settling arguments with heavy game for a century, and the short barrel keeps the rifle handy in thick cover where a shot happens fast and close.

A radial muzzle brake takes the edge off the recoil, which is the difference between a rifle you practice with and one that sits in the safe. The barrel is free floating, the receiver is drilled and tapped on the standard Remington 700 pattern so optic bases are easy to source, and there is a Picatinny section on the forend for a bipod or a support. Front and rear QD mounts are built in for a sling. A TriggerTech trigger handles the break. The walnut is the part people notice first, but the carbon barrel is why the rifle carries like something chambered in a much smaller cartridge.
