Christensen Arms Ridgeline FFT 22-250 Rem 20" 4rd Burnt Bronze Rifle

22-250 Remington is a coyote and prairie dog cartridge that rewards a rifle you can carry and a barrel that does not go soft partway through a string, and the Ridgeline FFT covers both. The 20" barrel is stainless steel under an aerograde carbon fiber wrap. Carbon pulls heat off the steel faster than a bare tube of the same weight, which is worth something when the dogs are still up and there are another twenty rounds to send.

The stock is Christensen's Flash Forged Technology carbon fiber, built as a monocoque shell rather than a filled composite, and it is spot bedded to the action so the barrel hangs free. Metal wears a Burnt Bronze finish against a Barren Dune camo stock. The muzzle is threaded with a removable stainless side baffle brake fitted, and a TriggerTech trigger sets the break. The receiver is machined steel on a Remington 700 footprint, drilled and tapped, so glass goes on with standard bases. An internal box magazine with an aluminum hinged floor plate holds 4 rounds.
