About the Christensen Arms MPR 22
The MPR, short for Modern Precision Rifle, is Christensen Arms' crossover gun: a chassis rifle light enough to carry and rigid enough to shoot small groups off a bipod. The chassis is machined from aluminum and folds at the hinge, which drops the rifle into a shorter case or a pack. The barrel is hand lapped carbon fiber, free floated the entire length, and comes threaded so a suppressor or brake goes straight on. Feeding is from a 5 round magazine.
A full length M-LOK handguard gives you attachment points for a bipod, a barricade stop and rear bag riders without adding rail you have to pad. The one piece 20 MOA rail buys elevation for long shots instead of burning up the scope's internal travel. The bolt handle is skeletonized with an oversized knob, so it is quick to find and quick to throw with a glove on, and the trigger is a TriggerTech. In 22 Creedmoor with a 24" barrel this one is built for flat shooting at distance.
