Christensen Arms MPR 22 Creedmoor 20" Tungsten Gray Rifle

This MPR pairs a 22 Creedmoor chambering with a tungsten gray folding chassis over a black nitride steel receiver, and the two tone look is the first thing anyone notices on the rack. The barrel is carbon fiber, hand lapped, free float, and threaded at the muzzle, and at 20" it keeps the rifle balanced between the hands rather than nose heavy on a bipod. The stock folds against the receiver for transport and adjusts for comb height and length of pull, so the same rifle fits a shooter in a shirt and the same shooter in winter layers.

The receiver carries a Picatinny rail and the forend carries another one ahead of the M-LOK slots, which covers both a bipod clamp and a barricade stop without adapters. A TriggerTech trigger sets the break, and the bolt handle is skeletonized with an oversized knob. 22 Creedmoor is the reason to look at this one over a 6.5: it moves a light bullet fast, recoils like a rimfire by comparison, and lets a shooter watch the impact through the scope instead of taking a spotter's word for it. Barrel life is shorter than a 6.5 and that is the honest trade for the speed.
