Christensen Arms MPR 22 Creedmoor 20" Rifle

The Modern Precision Rifle is Christensen's chassis gun, and this one is chambered in 22 Creedmoor with a 20" carbon fiber barrel. The chassis folds at the hinge and the buttstock adjusts for length and comb height, so the rifle packs down into a shorter case and still comes back to the same fit for the shooter it belongs to. The barrel is hand lapped and free float, threaded at the muzzle for a brake or a suppressor, and a full length M-LOK handguard runs over it for bipods, barricade stops, and rear bag riders.

22 Creedmoor is a small bore built on the 6.5 Creedmoor case, and out of a 20" barrel it shoots flat with almost no recoil, which makes calling and spotting your own hits easy at distance. The receiver carries a 20 MOA rail, so there is elevation in reserve for dialing instead of running out of turret halfway to the target. A TriggerTech trigger handles the break, the bolt handle is skeletonized with an oversized knob for fast cycling from the shoulder, and the finished rifle sits on the light side for a chassis gun. It works as a range rifle, a match rifle, and a varmint rifle without changing anything but the ammunition.
