Christensen Arms Mesa FFT Buckmasters 7mm Rem Mag 22" Rifle

The 7mm Remington Magnum has been the western hunter's cartridge for decades, and the Buckmaster Limited Edition Mesa FFT gives it a light rifle to live in. Flash Forged Technology shows up in the FFT carbon fiber sporter stock, which cuts weight while holding its shape, and the Buckmaster run finishes it in black with orange accents. The 22 inch stainless barrel is a #4 contour, free floating and hand lapped, with a threaded muzzle for a brake or a can.

Christensen spot beds the action into the stock and drills and taps the stainless receiver for a rail, so mounting glass is straightforward. A TriggerTech trigger and a skeletonized bolt handle round out the shooting interface. What the 7mm Rem Mag brings is reach with manageable recoil for the energy it carries, and in a rifle this light that trade off finally makes sense on a long climb. Thread on a suppressor and the cartridge gets a lot friendlier from a bench or a prone position on a ridge.
