Christensen Arms Mesa FFT Buckmasters 243 Win 20" Rifle

A 243 Winchester in a rifle this light is a hard combination to argue with. The Buckmaster Limited Edition Mesa FFT uses Christensen's FFT carbon fiber sporter stock to strip weight out of the build, finished in the black and orange exclusive to the Buckmaster run. The 20 inch stainless barrel is a #4 contour, free floating and hand lapped, threaded at the muzzle for anyone who wants a brake or a suppressor on the end.

Christensen spot beds the action, drills and taps the stainless receiver for a rail, and fits a skeletonized bolt handle and a TriggerTech trigger. The result handles like a walking rifle rather than a bench gun. The 243 does double duty better than almost anything else in the rack: light recoil makes it a genuinely good rifle to teach a new hunter on, it is flat enough for coyotes across a cut field, and with the right bullet it handles whitetail cleanly.
