Christensen Arms ELR 300 PRC 26" 3rd Rifle

The ELR is the dedicated long range hunting rifle from Christensen Arms, and 300 PRC is the kind of cartridge it was built around. A 26" target contour barrel of 416R stainless steel is wrapped in aerograde carbon fiber, button rifled, hand lapped and free floated, then threaded 5/8-24 and fitted with an adjustable stainless side baffle brake that comes off when you want to run a suppressor. The 1:8 twist handles the long, heavy bullets the PRC is known for.

The carbon fiber composite stock is set up for shooting prone or off a pack: adjustable comb and length of pull with spacers, adjustable butt cant, a modified beavertail forearm, a tactical grip and five flush cup sling mounts. An integral 20 MOA Picatinny rail is part of the action, which feeds from a three round AICS compatible detachable magazine. Other details include an adjustable match trigger, a twin lug spiral fluted bolt with an M16 style extractor, a tactical magazine release and a Black Nitride action finish over a black stock with gray webbing. It weighs about 7.5 lbs and carries the Christensen sub-MOA accuracy guarantee.
